Crowdfunding for Clubs

Accelerate your Development Programme
FROM £25,000 TO £10,000,000+

Welcome to, the UK’s pioneering company for club fundraising. We help independent clubs to use the power of crowdfunding by accepting both loans and donations from their community, including parents, alumni and beyond to deliver current and new development projects faster.

Unfamiliar with the term crowdfunding? Crowdfunding for clubs is the process of asking a crowd of people to each contribute small amounts of money that in total funds your project.

Crowdfunding has been established in the UK for over 10 years. There are four types of crowdfunding:

  • Peer to peer business lending – which is where a crowd of people contribute to a loan request from a business or institution. Funding Circle lead this specific sector in the UK;
  • Peer to peer consumer lending – this is where a crowd of people contribute to a loan requested by an individual. Zopa and Ratesetter are the leaders of this type of lending in the UK;
  • Equity crowdfunding – where companies sell a share in their business. Think of BBC’s “Dragon’s Den”!
  • Reward and donation crowdfunding – think Indiegogo and Kickstarter.

Karadoo Finance Limited, the company that operates, is authorised and regulated by the FCA for all peer-to-peer lending and equity crowdfunding. You can find out more about the FCA and how they regulate crowdfunding here is the world’s first and only (as far as we are aware) dedicated platform to facilitate crowdfunding for clubs. Specifically, we enable independent clubs to join the crowdfunding revolution to source loans and donations from their “crowd”, including parents, alumni and the wider club community to fund current and new development projects.
